I recently watched a heart-warming video on YouTube where Margie shared,

As I’m growing older I’m really starting to appreciate the simple pleasures more. It’s helping me feel more satisfied, content and happy in the moment. Enjoying the simple pleasures in life has meaning too. Not only that, but I find appreciating the small things adds to my sense of calm and ease.

It’s important to enjoy the simple pleasures in life as it can help you feel more present and uplift your mood.

When we are in a negative mindset it can sometimes be hard to focus on the good. Appreciating the simple pleasures is a simple way to realise all the good already in your life.

Lastly, if we’re always waiting for the ‘big’ things or the next things to make us happy… well we will be waiting.
