Top 6 YouTube Channels for Self-Growth

There are many ways you could expand your knowledge on personal growth, such as:

  • Books
  • Podcasts
  • Newsletters
  • Online courses
  • YouTube videos

Without any doubt, watching videos on YouTube is one of my favourite ways to learn. That’s why I follow 20+ self-help YouTube channels!

Although there are many amazing creators out there – some of which I’m not even aware of -, I decided to screen out the best ones for the purpose of this article.

So, if you’re on your path to becoming a better you, you’ll want to make sure to check out these self-help youtube channels!

Ali Abdaal

Ex-doctor turned into full-time YouTuber – and now author -, I couldn’t start this self-help YouTube channels list without mentioning one of the most famous productivity enthusiasts: Ali Abdaal.

With a focus on optimizing learning and productivity, Ali shares practical strategies, study techniques, and life hacks to help individuals maximize their potential and achieve their goals.

In my opinion, Ali Abdaal stands out from the rest of productivity experts thanks to his incredible skill of turning a difficult and complex concept into a simple and manageable action plan.

Other than sharing time management techniques, strategies for building habits, and productivity tips, Ali shares also lessons on entrepreneurship, creativity, and personal growth – drawing from his own experiences as a content creator and entrepreneur.

There isn’t a video on his channel I haven’t watched! (Yes, they’re that good! ;)) But, if you don’t know what videos to watch first, here’s what I would recommend:

  1. How Writing Online Made me a Millionaire
  2. How to Build Your Ultimate Productivity System
  3. How to Figure Out What You Really Want in Life

Whether it’s a new habit to add to your routine, a new side hustle idea, or a question to figure out who you really are – there’s always something you can take away from his videos. 😉

The philosophy at the core of her lifestyle is the concept of mindful intentionality – the practice of consciously choosing how to spend your time, energy, and resources in alignment with your values and aspirations.

What sets her apart is her gentle and empathetic approach to personal growth. Rather than prescribing rigid rules or one-size-fits-all solutions, MuchelleB encourages viewers to explore their values, preferences, and goals, empowering them to design a life that feels authentic and meaningful to them.

Her emphasis on self-compassion, self-care, and holistic well-being resonates with everyone – whether you’re a stressed college student or a stay-at-home mom.

Known for his documentary-style videos, minimalist aesthetic, and challenges – Matt’s content offers a refreshing perspective on how we can create more space, time, and freedom to pursue our passions and live with greater intentionality (if we only learn to let go of the unnecessary).

He’s open about the struggles he faces during his challenges – making him real and honest. But he’s also a great example – as he pushes himself to continuously test his own limits and, while doing that, he also makes sure he has some fun 😉
