Prepping your meals is one of the effective daily habits to improve your life.

Not only will you be able to save time and money,

but you will also ensure that you have healthy meals to nourish your body and brain with!

You can add meal prepping into your weekly routine by setting a day in your week to go for a food shop.

Once you’re home from your grocery shopping, you can start prepping your meals for the week ahead!

Best Weekly Meal Prep Ideas:

Snacks:

  • Fruit

Work on your passion project/ side hustle consistently

This small daily habit can change your life over time if you are willing to stick with it consistently.

Dedicate time in your life every day to working on a side hustle/ passion project that you are passionate about.

Find a project that is in alignment with the life you want to be living (aka your dream life) and that can make you incredible money too!

What you believe is possible for you, is.

If you don’t have the time and energy to directly put into your side hustle/ passion project one day, instead try doing something that can expand you. Learn something new, increase your knowledge, read a book or listen to a podcast.

Investing in your own personal growth and development is always a worthwhile time investment imo on the journey of becoming your best self.

Best ways to invest in your learning & personal growth and development

  • Online courses and masterclasses
  • Journalling
  • Youtube
  • Reading personal development & business/career books
  • Podcasts
  • Attending group networking events in likeminded spaces

Your future self will be so happy you showed up for creating and living a more happy and fulfilling life your way each day.

Reclaim your time

You have time.

It’s just, where are you choosing to spend your time and what on?

Reclaiming your time is a true game changer.

On the list of small daily habits to improve your life, this habit and prioritisation strategy is hands down one of my favourites that truly help you in accomplishing your dreams!

How to reclaim your time and attention for your goals:

  • Get rid of your distractions
  • Discover how to retrain your focus so that you can complete the tasks you set out for yourself
  • Limit your social media usage- mute stories & posts, use a screen time app blocker
  • Ask yourself this question: are you focusing on your essentials or are you just space-filling?
  • Become clear on your priorities and prioritise what truly matters to you & what you value
  • Set boundaries with what you are spending your time, energy and attention on

Where focus goes, energy flows. And where energy flows, whatever you’re focusing on grows. – Tony Robbins

Positive Mindset Perspective:

Focus on where you want to go, what you want and the best!

Amazing Productivity Tip:

To get more quality work done, focus on deep work rather than work that is scattered.

When your focus is on so many different things and replying to text messages at the same time while you’re trying to finish a task, it can lead to getting less done or even limiting the quality of your work.

Regulate your nervous system by taking deep breaths

One of the fastest ways to regulate your nervous system is by taking deep breaths.

Breathing deeply can support you in resetting your nervous system and increasing your mindfulness.

Consciously being aware of your breath throughout your day can help remind you to take deep breaths when your breaths are short.

Overall, taking some deep breaths throughout your day is one of the positive daily habits to improve your life and help reset your nervous system.

The proven benefits of regulating your nervous system:

  • Assists you in calming down when you’re feeling stressed
  • Makes you feel more present and grounded

  • Improves your quality of sleep
  • Enhanced emotional resilience: making it easier to handle challenges when they arise

I used to be so much better about meal prepping and planning out a monthly plan. That was with young kids. As an empty nester, I’m more likely just to wing it.
